TipTopSwiss 170:366

When venturing out today to buy bread for lunch Isaac and I witnessed what happens when the electric buses have a problem. The driver jumps out of his cab with a telescopic pole and reaffixes the 'things on the roof' to the poster lines. Quick and easy solution - the bus had gone when we returned 5 minutes later!

I love your observations! Swiss efficiency at its best: Electric buses and MacGyver-y bus drivers!

I LOVE the buses here! Air conditioned, efficient and usually very clean. I've been to England three times since we moved here and every visit has involved a run in with late running public transport, including missing a plane. Give me SBB, ZVV and Stadtbus Winterthur anyday!
