This was the view from the Zürich - Baar train this morning. It was even more beautiful on the way home. I was reading and looked up to see the sun glinting on Zürichersee with the snow capped mountains in the background. Gorgeous.

The day after the night before! I had a few minutes to spare before music rehearsal at church so I thought I'd go and have a look at the See. Looks beautiful but the smell in front of the Opera and on the See side! Oh boy, the smell was disgusting. Saturday was the annual Parade and there had obviously been plenty of beer (and other resulting fluids) flowing in Bellevue. And, it being a very hot day, it was rather...ripe! Most unlike Zürich and I'm sure a very short lived situation.

Hurrah! I'm back in Interlaken once more! I'm particularly proud of this photograph, so tranquil after the stresses of an 8+ hour car journey, a child with car sickness who was then sick on arrival and moving from a luxury gîte to a tent!

I discovered a new part of Winti today. Jude had a party opposite Rosenberg shopping centre and John and I had planned to spend the 2 hours mooching there. Then we discovered a lake with lily pads and ducks on which people were playing with remote controlled cars and next to which was a campsite.
And there was a blue frog in the middle advertising Sunday brunch.

I sometimes wonder about the sanity of my family but I'm the loopiest of us all so what do I expect?

We went to Amden to visit some friends and we all went on a long walk down the mountain to the lake. It was a warm day and we were rather hot so paddling seemed in order. Jude on the other hand decided to jump into the lake. As you can see from his face, it was rather cold, but he enjoyed it!
