I saw this advertisement on my way to Zug today.
It's not the first time that I've noticed advertisements in English - see the Toblerone one in February. I checked out the website. Everything is in German or French except the advertisement. Money saving? Universal appeal? I don't know.

Today's picture was chosen by my boys who met me for ice cream after school/German course today.
I think they're hoping for a chocolate rabbit that big for Easter!
Der Osterhase - the Easter bunny
Das Osterei - Easter egg
Das Ostern - Easter

This lovely chocolate house caught my eye today in the window of die BĂ€ckerei in Obertor.
A heated debate was held as to whether it is actually made of chocolate or cardboard, but hard to tell at 9pm on a Sunday night...

Following on from yesterday's post, THIS is more to my liking.
I favour a dark chocolate with high cocoa solid content and this particular Schoggi schmeckt sehr gut.
A present for Valentinestag from John.
Switzerland is blessed with many a wondrous chocolate maker - Vollenweider, SprĂŒngli, Caillor, Frey, Lindt Suchard and of course Tobler of Toblerone fame.
